The International Center for Underwater Archeology in Zadar (ICUA Zadar), recognized as a category 2 center under the auspices of UNESCO, organizes a week-long training program on the Conservation of Underwater Metal Heritage. This is the first time such a program has been offered and will take place in the Zadar region, Croatia, from May 20 to 24, 2024.
The training is aimed at professionals in the fields of conservation, archeology and knowledge related to the safeguarding and management of underwater cultural heritage. Participants will have the opportunity to learn methods of protection and monitoring of underwater metallic heritage.
ZINETI will attend as one of the speakers, providing experience and knowledge on cathodic protection.
