You don’t always have the opportunity to verify the results of a technical study on site. This results are theoretical and in some occasions can differ slightly from reality in some occasions due to in conditions of the operation some variables interferes as temperature, biofouling or the proper dynamics of the sea.

In 2021 spring we make a technical study about the protection of a floating structure driven to test developments for the offshore industry in a real environment and under conditions controlled by Tecnalia.

This sea buoy entered in operation at the end of 2021 and in 2026 we have an invitation from Tecnalia to visit and check the effectivity of the installed cathodic system on site

As you can see in the images, the measured potentials which comprises between -900 mV y -950 mV , confirm the good performance of the system and validate the study based on the protection done in 2021.
